A programme that’s big on possibility.

For us, a graduate programme isn’t just a way of hiring talented people – it's an opportunity to create the future leaders of our business. While our programmes involve the mix of training and working that you might expect, the difference with us is that you can train with a real purpose, take on real projects and work with real responsibility.

Like everyone who joins Tesco Bank, it’s vital that you share our absolute focus on customer needs (no matter which programme is right for you) and that you treat others the way you’d hope to be treated. We’ll build on what you’ve learned at university, but we need strong foundation to get started, in the shape of a 2:1 degree or better.

It’s a two-year programme (three for Finance), which starts off with a thorough introduction to the business, before moving onto a series of six-month rotations. Spending time with different teams across the business, you won’t be confined to side projects or unimportant tasks – you’ll have the chance to make an active contribution, gain real experience and learn skills on-the-job.

While each programme comes with its own goals and tasks, they aren't set in stone. Instead, you’ll work with an assigned mentor to set a direction that fits your interests and strengths as you progress. If you ever need any extra tips or advice, we’ll make sure you have plenty of support throughout the programme. In addition to your mentor, you’ll have a designated buddy – plus you’ll find that everybody is ready to listen and offer advice, from peers and former graduates to our business Directors.

At the end of it all, you’ll have taken a huge step in your career with us – for many, a step that includes professional qualifications. You’ll have experience and knowledge, not to mention a strong network of colleagues and contacts across the bank. Above all else, you’ll be ready to take on a role that fits your specialist skills and personal passions – taking your career to new heights.
